Yoga principles: Yoga is a very beneficial physical activity for people of all ages. Not only does it help tone the body and keep it flexible, but yoga also trains the mind. You become more relaxed. This combination of physical and mental benefits can miraculously change a person’s life.
History of yoga
Yoga is a combination of body, strength and mind. The history of yoga has a long tradition. The word yoga has its first revelation in the Rig Veda, which is recognized as the oldest of the sacred texts. The history of yoga is divided into four main periods called the pre-classical period, classical period, post-classical period, and modern period. It is considered an ancient health and fitness system that originated in India. Raja Yoga – It involves meditation and strict adherence to the chain of disciplinary steps recognized as the eight links of yoga.
Karma Yoga – It strives to create a future that is free from enthusiasm and selfishness.
Bhakti Yoga – This is practiced to take the path of loyalty, an optimistic way of nurturing emotions and developing acceptance and patience.
Jnana Yoga – This direction consists of understanding, the path of the researcher and the development of mental power through study.
Tantra Yoga – This helps to create the path of ritual, habit or completion of relationships.

Empty stomach
This is merely a personal preference. Some people feel good on an empty stomach, while others benefit from the energy they get from having eaten something before physical activity. If you choose to fill your stomach, make sure it is neverthelessv light. It is not recommended to fill the belly to the brim. Also, make sure you eat the food at least an hour or so before you do the yoga exercises. If you don’t want to eat anything, remember that it’s a good idea to drink some water to keep your body hydrated during your workout.
Dresses
The only rule you should follow is this: Never wear clothes that fit tightly to your body and make you feel uncomfortable. That’s it. Choose something that is breathable and allows your body to move freely without restrictions. If you sweat a lot while working out, make sure the fabric of the dress is moisture wicking. Be on time
It is best to arrive at least 15 minutes before the yoga class begins. This will give you enough time to find your way around, make new acquaintances, find bathrooms and so on. If you are present before entering the room, you can avoid awkward introductions that you would have had to make if you arrived late to class. You might feel nervous before starting the yoga class. Understand that this is fine. Your nervousness will soon dissipate as you dive into the practice.
Care for your body
Yoga definitely has its benefits. But like any physical activity, it can also hurt you if you do it wrong. If you experience pain or discomfort in any part of your body, inform your yoga instructor.
